
Riley Laffoon is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana with a B.S. in Psychology. She begins her first year at Northern Illinois University, pursuing a PhD in School Psychology, in the Fall. Upon graduation, she hopes to work as a pediatric psychologist and has interests in the impact of adversity on children, as well as treatment methods such as Parent Child Interaction Therapy.
Riley completed two semesters of undergraduate practicum experience at Easterseals Rehabilitation Center under supervision of Dr. Jim Schroeder, and was awarded the Outstanding Internship Award by the University of Southern Indiana Psychology Department. Through this experience, she was able to assist in the creation of the Real You Wellness program.
Aside from academic involvements, Riley enjoys spending time with her family, being active, and traveling.
